If Your Movies Look Like a Bad Kung-Fu Flick…

Have you ever noticed that your audio and video do not match up from time to time when using a new HDTV and a home theater receiver? This issue is due to the fact that many newer HDTV’s have a large amount of video processing that is taking place causing the picture to be delayed. When you add a home theater receiver to the mix, the receiver usually processes the audio faster causing the audio and video to not match up. Fortunately, a new advancement may help correct this increasingly common problem. Auto Lip-Sync Correction available on all Yamaha *65 series receivers works to correct these timing issues when everything is connected over HDMI, and the other connected devices are also compatible with the auto correction. So get it straight and look for TVs and video sources that offer Auto Lip-Sync Correction. Get back to what really m atters, the experience.
*In the event that you have a device that does not support auto lip synch correction, never fear, since Yamaha receivers also allow you to adjust for timing issues with a manual delay feature.
