Meet the WeeBee Audio/Video Staff
Part of what makes WeeBee so special is our staff. We want to take some time and some space here on our new site to introduce them to you and give you a chance to know them better.
Kerry Schanz
President
Hi! I’m Kerry Schanz owner and President of WeeBee Audio Video. It started as a dream playing cards with a buddy saying one day I’ll have a store of my own. Then we talked about it so much that I started to write down names. Then one day I came up with WeeBee Audio. Two years later I had a falling out with my past employer and March of 1990 we opened WeeBee Audio. It grew very fast with the help of my Reps and a lot of hard work. We added a home audio section for our second Christmas. Nine years ago we moved our current location. We now specialize in whole house audio and Home Theater as well as we still do tons of car audio installs. I take great pride in winning dozens of awards in our industry some national and some regional.
It’s been a long hard battle to fight the fight against the big guys but since we started back in 1990 14 independents have come and gone and a few National A/V stores. That gives me a great outlook to get up and go to work each day. I want satisfaction for my customers so if you are not satisfied or know someone who isn’t please either call or email I want to make it right.
Enough babbling let me end this on a personnel note. I have a wife of twenty-one years. We have three awesome kids Olivia in college. Alex who is in tenth grade and Paige who is in seventh grade. We love to vacation at different places each year. My favorite pass time is racing. I have raced myself or sponsored cars since 1982. My son and I will this year in the same class that should be a real blast for us.

Eliese’s career at WeeBee began before WeeBee even started when she married Kerry. While she has pursued a number of other interests and does local volunteer work, she’s always helped out at WeeBee.Eliese is now taking a more active role at WeeBee overseeing all the office and financial operations. She’s a one person HR/Financial/Operations department and she does all this balancing her time at home with the two youngest children (her oldest is away at college).Eliese brings the stability, experience and knowledge required to keep WeeBee on track and running smoothly. |

Harry Kobrin

Hi. My name is Harry Kobrin. I’ve been in this industry now for over 25 years now of which I’ve spent the last 14 of them with Wee Bee Audio Video. My love for electronics started back in the late seventies and has grown from there. Since starting in this industry I’ve worked for mostly small family owned businesses who tend to specialize more so when customers are shopping they get a more enjoyable experience shopping, better service and the opportunity to develop a personnel relationship.
When not working I enjoy dining out with my wife and daughter, watching movies, traveling and of course football my all time favorite.
My hobbys are coin collecting but my favorite is cooking. I find it very relaxing to shop for a meal that I can then prepare fresh for my wife and I, my daughters and of course friend who are looking for that ” Free Meal”, and with that a good bottle of wine.
I live in Manheim Township with my Nancy, my daughter Madison who is 12 and in seventh grade and our 2 dogs Precious and Chubby.

When not listening to music, reading, dabbling in photography, spending time with his wife, Scott occasionally sleeps.

I have always had an interest in everything that has an electrical or mechanical element to it. Since my first car and my first apartment the priority is the audio/video system before anything else. Audiophile listening is one of my biggest hobbies and the most enjoyable way I can think of to spend my free time. I am constantly tweaking my own 2 channel listening and surround sound systems for better performance. 2007 was my fifth year in the electronics indusrty. The technical aspect of this industry is what always keeps me coming back for more because I can never get enough of the nitty gritty technical data about the latest/greatest products. Outside of the consumer electronics field I really enjoy going to college, reading, weight lifting, and photography. After several years with WeeBee I can say that working for a family owned company with a focus on customer service is a great way to make a living in Lancaster County!
